See this i can get behind.It sounds interesting.Instead of trying to rehash the mythology their building on it 20 years later with a new slayer.And this leaves the door open for the original cast to reprise their roles.I wouldn't mind seeing Rupert "the ripper" Giles make an appearance.Maybe he's head of the Watchers by now.

I'm down for it. They could show Buffy from past clips similar to how they showed some of the Slayers that Spike killed in his past from time to time while focusing on the new Slayer.
I hope they don't call the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer if the central focus is a completely new slayer. I bet they will though!

This slayer is also named Buffy after the girl who saved her mom/dad all those years ago when there was a vampire attack in their school/wherever.
Like Marty McFly being called Marty because he helped out George and Lorraine.
