WELCOME IMDb refugees

Hello! I thought I'd create a post to welcome any other posters who were so callously and abruptly DUMPED by imdb.com .

I was macpro75 on IMDb, and go by that name on each of the 2000 boards ( +/- 1000) boards I have now joined in hopes of finding my friends and meeting new ones.

I am hopeful but skeptical that this board can deliver on its rather ambitious plan. I would be very happy if there was just an archive of the old IMDb, but if this board can actually archive, replicate, AND improve on the old IMDb -- I willbe ecstatic!!!

Anyway, I really hope that this (or ANY) board can become a new home for us.

So as one lost poster to another. Welcome and I share your pain!

I'm here from IMDB! Same Username as the one I have here :) I'm so sad about the message boards shutting down. I'd been going there since I was a teenager!

OK. I'm just going to dive in and say that the episode I can't stop thinking about is the season 4 closer, 'Restless'. It's mind-blowing! I love the abstraction and the absurd dialogue and situations. And who can forget the cheese man?

Macpro see about coming back. The community is coming active and we can see about getting the forum active again.
