I haven't seen Asteroid yet. It's on tomorrow night on Sci-Fi. So I have nothing to say, except, what is it with Texas? In Asteroid, the projected point of impact is Dallas, Texas. In Armageddon, the asteroid is the size of Texas. That's all. Nothing further to comment on. Should I DVR this one incase I might miss it?
shareAs I always write in blogs and message boards. These movies are not about the human charaters. They are about the Asteroids or comets. They are just like Godzilla movies. It's Godzilla who is the star of the movie. The people are just extras. In the case of Asteroid it's the same. The star of the movie is the Asteroid the people are all just extras. As long as you watch the movie with this understanding you will enjoy it. The only real problem I have with Asteroid is it's 4 hours long. That's 3 hours of watching fill-in acting before the big show. I wish they had cut the movie down to 2 hours.

4 hours? I have the DVD edition and it is only 122 minutes. That's 2hrs.
