bashing a winner


crazy characters, uneven pacing, weird hairdos, enigmatic dialogue, and an open ending...what else would you expect in an alex cox movie, people.
this guy is to filmmaking what punk is to rock, so try not to lay too heavy a trip on him for being himself, and making something "bad" out of the script.
i watch this movie, which runs the gamut of emotions, all the while only touching on them, thinking of it as an exercise in ultra-contemporary narrative cinema...
