The actual sailing ship Albatross

can be seen briefly in the Rock Hudson film "Twilight for the Gods" (1958) supposedly as a burning, sinking ship in the plotline of that movie. It was at that time owned by Ernest K.Gann, the screenwriter, who wrote that film. A year or two later it was sold to Ocean Academy Ltd.
