Question about wife being trapped/dying

I watched this movie last night on cable--so sad I missed it when it first came out!--but I think I maybe missed something? I know some of the characters were trapped during the sinking, but why couldn't the wife get out? She seemed to be in an area that wasn't rapidly filling with water and just kind of walked around in a daze--I was just wondering if there was a reason she wasn't trying to get out as fervently as the other characters? (dramatic effect, door was locked, etc.) ...

reply

She had been knocked out. By the time she wakes up and realizes what's going on she has less than a minute to get out...I'm not quite sure where the closest exit was, and whether she would have been able to move quickly.

reply

Water pressure would prevent her from opening any doors so she had no way to get out.

Jesus, thanks for sticking a spoiler in your question. You shouldn't do that. Watching it now and I came here to read the review and i see your question. Cheers!

For god's sake learn NOT to post a spoiler in your subject line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is always spoilers on these boards for the movies. Why come here at all before finishing the movie. After all this place is for talking about the movie and if you cant say what you watched then whats the whole purpose of being here at all. Stay on the front side until you have watched the movie completely. If we had to stick the word SPOILER on ever title that would look awful..lol

THIS, THIS, THIS! Why do people complain when they come to any type of outlet that could ruin the movie or television show for them? You take the risk, you take the consequences.

It's like googling a game you're watching on DVR. You WILL find out the score!

the movie is almost 20 years old - the spoler alert statute of limitations has expired people. By the way - Dorothy gets back to Kansas....

Not to mention that this movie was out for over a decade before this thread was started.

People go to IMDb for reviews or ratings all the time. The first title threads are seen in the first page before you enter the message board.

Also the poster commenting that it's ok to spoil older films clearly hasn't seen that many find and has limited view of such things. Films have been a medium for over 100 years, books and novels much longer. People are born daily without the pre knowledge of novels and films, no one has ever seen every single film or read every single book in history. So does that mean every single film or novel should be spoiled just because it's more than a year older? How limited is your thinking?

well one guy did surivive a boat and air trapped inside! For her I think she died regardless since the air would have gone stale and then she would have died

It was reported a guy did survive a boat sinking the air was trapped inside and someone got too him before the air become stale
