Great Man

Just saw this film for the first time last night. Ali, for all the fame and recognition he received, was sorely misunderstood by the masses.

He was (and obviously is) a great human being. Sure he ws a great athlete, and self-promoter. But it's quite clear that his motives to help humanity, and not just the black people, were/are paramount in his life. The man had/has a social conscience, and felt his calling to help this world.

My hat's off to you sir- you deserve it!

PS- he was a boxing phenomenon- his "rope-a-dope" was pure genius

Marco, you must be one of old farts whose ass ali punched his fists up. Cheer up loser you still have your worthless life to live. So stop creeping through the message boards posting negative feedback about one of the greatest boxers ever to bless this sport. If you never made it, doesn't mean other people can't.

Loser.
