I met Crispin Glover last night.

I'm sure everyone knows Crispin Glover as George McFly from Back to the Future.
Last night Crispin was in town at a small theater to show his movie "What is It ?"
While it was cool to meet him and talk to him, his movie was 70 minutes of What the Phuck is Going On?
It was one of those art house movies that had no plot and made absolutely no sense to me at all.
His entire cast, with the exception of him and another guy, had Down Syndrome. For real, not normal people acting like they had it. These actors had Down Syndrome.
And every Down Syndrome actor mumbled the dialogue so it was almost impossible to understand what was being said.
I asked Crispin if his actors improvised the dialogue or did they memorize a script. He said, both.
Another character was a completely naked 60 year old man with cerebral palsy lying down in a giant clam shell getting masturbated by a naked woman wearing a monkey mask while Crispin sits on a throne and watches them for ten minutes while country music plays. WTF?
And there was a semi-sex scene with two Down Syndrome people where the guy fingerbangs the girl in a graveyard. I've never seen that before.
This movie was Part 1 of a trilogy.
And after the movie, he was out in the lobby to talk and to autograph whatever.
He was a very cool guy to meet and I'm glad I got to go.

Yeah I met him a little while ago in SLC, nice guy but very strange. I think he was wearing the same suit from Willard. We talked a lot about cartoons, and he talked me into buying some of his books.....he autographed them to people who were not there by saying "thanks for coming to see What is it?". I was like dude there are only three of us in the room......but thanks a lot! He kept calling me by first name which was wierd too, I guess he heard some one else call me. Nice guy but very odd!

the gallo and glover comparisons are funny to me, because i met both of them.
and they were both extremely polite, gracious with their time and to me, very interesting, intelligent and insightful when i spoke with them about their films and music. i was very impressed with their attitude and behavior after meeting them, especially because they had to deal with many fans.

and also, i have to say i think gallo was doing more than just incorporating a real bj in his film for shock value. i think, to paraphrase the man himself, the bj had to be real to have such an impact. and the film had to have such explicit sex for the audience to feel so emotional when you find out the surprise climax at the end. at least for me, i thought of it was more than sex.

Wow, that sounds like my Saturday nights. And while the old guy is in the clam shell, I'm usually throwing bologne at him.

Seeing a close of of a man with cerebral palsy getting jerked off by a naked woman with a monkey mask didn't shock you? Hate to live in your neighborhood.
