this is really sad but...

I THINK (and I'm guessing here, it's way too disjointed to make sense) it's implied they had sex and I figured that's what happened, she "caught" it from his winky. What a friggin' horrible movie, and sadly I didn't even see this for free on MST3K, I picked it up from my local video store in a deal (3 movies for 4 nights for 5 bucks), so I actually paid real money to see this. Sure, it was only $1.67 or so, I somehow still felt cheated.

Them having sex and her catching it like a venereal disease(or maybe he scratched her during sex) is a truly icky proposition, just like It Lives By Night when the only way the wife could be turning into a giant bat was because her and hubby did it and he bit her during sex... As Crow said during that movie: "How should she be turning into a bat? The only contact she had with him was at the hotel...Oh MY God!! I get the shower first!" :P But its the only explanation, because when did he every bite or scratch her otherwise? But the puzzling thing is that he wasn't a werewolf when they did it, so why would his bite or scratch mark be infected? The skeleton that infected the Native American digger was clearly that of a werewolf who had already transformed, and his blood was taken by Yuri when he was in mid-transformation and used on the security guard. yet when Paul and Natalie are tripping the light fantastic, Paul is neither a werewolf nor even starting to transform. Of course this is all way too logical thinking for this turd of a film, but...
