Most underrated film of the last twenty years!!

Seriously, how could it only earn three hundred thousand! It deserved to be a massive success and also Oscars aplenty.

I agree. This movie was brilliant!

Agree 100%

Wonder if it's gonna get a re-release one of these days. "Wisdom" got a re-release on DVD and that had nothing on this film.

What would really be cool if it got a Blu-Ray release.

Apparently it did, from the critics that saw it, but it got virtually no distribution. Estevez almost quit the film business.

Good philosophy woodiehoot, but I think he was a bit more upset over the lack of financial success.

Some might say he already had his moment, back in the 80's.

But I think he's a more serious film maker now, and his acting chops are showing more in films like this. Especially this. It saddens me that he's likely only gonna be remembered by most because of "Mighty Ducks" or "Breakfast Club".

I agree it was underrated. It was a bit too over-dramatic at times, but it was acted brilliantly.
Emilio has always been an underrated, under-appreciated actor. We know he's good in comedies, but when he's been called to act in dramas he's very good.

Even in a horror film, he played the tormented character of "J.J" in a haunting way.

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."

'men at work' is a classic! he directed that too. and wrote it. and both the brothers estevez are in it!
