Painful to watch

I have one unbreakable rule for comedy on film: Any movie that features a "Remains of the Day" lunchbox and "My Dinner With Andre" action figures gets an automatic 'thumbs up'.

Then there's the blandly earnest middle-aged guy auditioning for "Red, White and Blaine" by announcing he's going to perform a scene from "Raging Bull." So, he launches into a deadpan version of the "Did you fµ¢₭ my wife?" scene.

Mind you, I know a lot of people who would greet these jokes with the blank stare of the lobotimized. They're all awful bastard people who have a$$ faces, but they still freely roam our streets.

I thought it was stupid but for some reason i could not change the station. It was like a drug. If i catch it on cable i watch it every time. Very odd.

I don't know that I would want my town to be known as the stool capital. I wonder how many people completely missed that one.



The plural of mouse is mice. The plural of goose is geese. Why is the plural of moose not meese?

"WHAT?! This is one of the funniest movies ever made. I'm still laughing and I've seen it nearly 10 times! However, I like pretty much anything connected with Christopher Guest and his films are very funny to me. It's not everyones kind of humor, but it works for some."

That's the thing - I think you either love this type of humor or hate it...or perhaps just simply don't get it! I LOVE these movies and the entire cast! My personal favorite was Best in Show :)
