What episodes should I show my kids to prepare them for these movies?

They have never seen the show, and obviously this won't be nearly as funny if they don't know what tropes are being satirised. Obviously I have to show them one of the Hawaii ones, but first I need to show a more "regular" episode or two. Hopefully ones with some "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha" in it, some Alice wisecracking, a moralising parable/sermon from Mike, and an "I know what I'd like to _______, Mr. Brady" double entendre from Carol before bed.

I think your best bet would be to just show them one random episode from each season. That way, they can see how the show developed, thus gaining a familiarity with the characters. Those will be the "ordinary" episodes.

Then, of course, show them the classic episodes pertaining to the movie's plot.By then, they should be up on the show enough to totally understand and appreciate the humor of these parody films.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

Why not just show them all 117 episodes? Plus all eps of "The Brady Brides," of course. Plus "A Very Brady Christmas," for obvious reasons. And then show them all six episodes of "The Bradys" and you'll be ready for the movies!

Really? I thought all kids were growing up watching this show with each new generation. How wrong am I.
