Missing Scenes?

This has been one of my favorite movies for years now. But every version I've seen of this movie in teh States fails to explain the significance of "Wally." You only see him near the end of the film, and it is when he is in the back of a car with a girl. No explanation of who he is and why Larry calls him a "dirty bollocks" and a *beep*

Can someone please tell me what I've been missing, a little about any scenes possibly cut out that might explain this, and where I might be able to get a copy of an unedited version of this movie? feel free to e-mail me direct at [email protected]. Thanks!

There were no scenes cut out with Wally I don't think. He's only in 2 scenes. The one where he and Mona (his wife) are fighting, and the other where he's seen in the back seat of the car with that other woman.

The whole Wally thing is that he's a guy from the neighbourhood who doesn't get on with his wife and everyone knows it.

And when he's seen in the back of the car with a woman whose not his wife, Larry is shocked that any woman would be sleeping with him. Calling him a "Dirt Bird".

I recorded this movie off the TV a couple of years ago and was surprised when I bought the DVD recently that the scene with Wally and Mona was cut out. The DVD for some unknown reason edited that scene that introduces Wally out.

Also they overdubbed some of the lines as well. This really bugged me. I hate the DVD version of this film.
