B-Movie Instant Classic

I used to work at Blockbuster and I made it a point to rent as many movies as i could. I grabbed this one day and took it home not expecting much. What I got was an extremelly campy, very badly done, horribly scripted, technically absent EXTREMELLY ENTERTAINING movie! It's one of the few B-movies that I actually remember and I saw a LOT of them. I worked there before they got rid of VHS so I got to see some old treats. I loved it. I've been trying to find it for so long! I talk about it every time crappy/good movies come up. The scenes where you can see the wires.. LOL, CLASSIC. FIND ME A COPY!

No one has ever returned this movie to Blockbuster after renting it. It's that good. No kidding. Go to any Blockbuster. They'll have the case, but the movie is gone. You can go there every day for a year and it still will be checked out. Same thing with "The Running Man".

I found it at a flea market in my area last weekend and I'M SO GLAD I DID. I bought it purely for the cover, didn't even care if it had a disc inside. But after watching it I agree with everything said above. B movie classic! And probably the best shot Isaac Hayes will ever have at serious acting.

All I can say is, see Bill Lustig's other films. The Maniac Cop series, and Maniac. Tehy're all great...and Maniac will scare the pants off you!

lustig is very underrated as a director. he deserves as much praise as his frequent co-worker larry cohen gets. this was fun trash. i don't like it as much as maniac or maniac cop but it's fun.

Agreed, great cheesy fun. Takes a little bit to get going, but once it does it's a lot of fun. I found a copy via netflix, and might just have to keep it...

I really enjoyed this movie even though it is bad and cheesy in a good way. Isaac Hayes is awesome in this

I liked it myself, pretty entertaining. Can't believe I've never seen it before now lol.
