When Ben Chaplin is feeding Uma Thurman cake there is an orange ball on the plate. I've always wondered what it was and couldn't figure it out. It's sort of driven me crazy over the years whenever I've seen this movie. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

I agree that it's probably cheese- however it wasn't Noelle that told him she was a cheesemaker, It was Abby, so i doubt that was his deep-seated motivation for putting the cheese on the plate.

He didn't put the cheese or any of the food on the plate; he does mention it was left from a photo shoot he had earlier. The mix of cake, cheddar and tomato is a bit puzzling though... :-S
