Crap

Aw come on it had rising stars Miranda Otto, Noah Taylor and Hugo Weaving in it so it can't be all bad. This is one of those slightly obscure small-budget movies you've probably only heard of if you're Australian and over 30, but it has good value. It got me motivated enough to do my own drive across the nullarbour to Perth and back (which I've since done several times) something every Aussie should do at least once (I'm a yank). Those roadhouse pubs in the middle of nowhere are fairly colourful and lonely, and I've had my own human dramas with girlfriends and too much cheap beer along the way. Have since found this on DVD and pull it out every year or so - a good Aussie-flavoured drama with it's share of fun moments. Watch it then go do a big road trip =)
