Bobby's Mother Invoking 'Tetragrammation'

That is a major goof on the part of the writers. You see "Tetragrammation" is one of the ancient names of God. For instance, Yahweh, Jehova, I AM, etc.

Watching "Bobby" leads one to believe that he is some sort of demon or prince of the underworld when Lysette Anthony's character holds the ritual and invokes his name. It's a goof/plot hole of course because as I've stated, that's a name of the Christian God, and you would have no business getting him to raise up a spirit back to life, bring back the dead, etc. You certainly wouldn't get God to act by holding a occult ritual which is forbidden in Christian religion. God is not going to release anybody from Hell for that matter, so that's poor research on the writers part. Just saying.

That's very interesting. I did not know that. I've heard the other names you've mentioned used to refer to God, but never that one. I never put much thought into the names she tried to invoke as a matter of fact, but it is still very interesting. I wonder if she says it in the "Dead of Night" version.
