I'm actually quite excited about this. Danny Boyle, Irvine Welsh, and Andrew Macdonald seem enthusiastic about the project, and want to live up to the legacy of the original while also remaining relevant and not just feeling like a rehash. All the original cast is back, along with John Hodge, and it looks like they're treating things with utmost care.

The only reservations I have are that Porno apparently wasn't as good as the first book (I imagine they're gonna find a new title), so it's probably only going to be loosely based on it.

Yea same here Degree7, If this was a remake or something I would of been annoyed but a sequel with all the crew/cast back is a thumbs up from me

I have never read the second book so I can't really have an opinion, But yeah I think it will have elements in this but not have a page by page layout

I was born in London Westminster, But grew up in Kent in Dartford/Bexleyheath

I have been to Derby and Sheffield a few times over the years-Have you ever been to Kent?
