Did you know the game was cut in half!

Did you any of you know that the game was actually suppoed to be quite a bit longer and that during beta testing the game was cut in half. There are quite a few areas, animations etc left over and these were planned for a possible sequel. You can see some of these left over animations, backgrounds here at one of the artists website.

So what we are all playing of toonstruck is really just half of what the orginal game was supposed to be.

That's very cool. I knew they had a sequel lined up, and I just wish it had been as popular as it deserved to be.

This, along with Monkey Island and Grim Fandango is one of my favourite games.

I always thought the game was a little short. Additional scenes would have been good! :(

I owned the game AGES ago (really wish I kept it too! You never think things'll get rare until they do and you had sold them...), and it's still a fond memory, a GEM of a game, and now a RARE GEM of a game that needs DOSBox to run...I hope/think.

I still own this game. i just cant get it to play on my computer anymore. what a bummer. they should totally bring out a sequel that would be so awesome.

Hey, I couldn't get it working for ages and I thought it was a lost cause. Someone got it working for me using Dosbox. It's abit fiddly, but it works. Good stuff. :D

oh yeah i know about that. i got it loaded on a friends computer so they could play heroes or might and magic 1 or something like that. took me ages tho
