any parent would have done the same thing !
There is one case I can think of. happened in the late 80's or early 90s a mom waiting by the pay phone bank in the hallway of a courthouse shoots her sons rapist as he is walking by in custody. The man was her sons karate teacher and he took liberties with her son who was 10 or so. there is a clip of the shooting that can be found on YouTube and I also think they did a Lifetime movie on the case.

There is one case I can think of.Oh, I know there are some...even vaguely recall one or two. My main point was that it is not common at all and there are so many parents who have suffered seeing something happen to their child. share
There is a French movie I saw a few years ago called 7 Days. A father holds his daughters rapist and murderer captive for a week torturing him in the most god awful ways u can think of. It's a hard watch but it takes a toll more pydcholigically. I can't imagine. The parents of the Christian/Swenson case. I can't imagine the horror they felt.

in europe you almost never see people do that. fortuately it is very rare.
and something simliar happens to victims in europe but victims and families just choose to cry and hope the legal system will Lock the guilty away.
the legal system in europe would never let anybody get away with murder no matter how good your defence is or what happened to you.
So you would reward them with an easy exit?
