not a bad movie in retrospect

I saw it when it came out and thought it was a pile of junk. now nearly twenty years later I saw it again on Netflix and it's actually not bad. Michael Constantine is a hoot, and I love the scene between bill and the judge's wife. I would like to have known what the gypsy told the cop...boils perhaps? I thought the ending was quite good, and appropriate.
