If Billy didn't have Ginelli to turn to for help what do you think he would have done after confronting the gypsies at their camp?
shareHe definitely would have given up or tried to reason with them by offering money. He was ready to end it even with Ritchie helping him when they discovered the dead guy in the car at the motel.

shareHis corrupt buddies only have power in that small town. The Gypsy's were well out of the reach of any legal authority. Billy was going to beg for his life and then die. Richie was a good friend to look out for Billy like that. He was a better friend then his cheating wife anyway.
shareHis wife was obviously cheating on him for sure and that is why I think Billy wanted revenge because in retrospect her actions in the vehicle could have been to misdirect Billy shortly after beginning an affair with the doctor.

shareThat felt like a plot hole for sure. How could the beautiful gypsy lady hear what they men were saying about her sexually in the office? She couldn't without supernatural perception. Perhaps the true dark heart of the Italian Mafia guy was immune from her Jedi powers?
shareHer power seemed more like a spider sense to me and besides she was much younger than the old-Lempke. Perhaps they can't use their magic when they have the fear response of being shot at and need to be calm to use it.
