okay just watched this for the first time last night. Some of the lines
were funny but i can't help but feel that this movie could have been made
so much better.I felt that you didn't really get to see a lot of character
development and some of the acting seemed unrealistic.

one thing that bothered me is when brandi is making breakfast at darnell's
house and he tells her to get out. That is the first time she did something
like that while he kept basically harassing her.going to her office, having
her show him a house he can't even afford and just being a pest and he's mad
at her for just making him breakfast?

I found myself brandi's side the entire movie and got annoyed everytime darnell
had a line.

I think the storyline was good but betweern Martin Lawrence's direction and his screenplay, a spectacular film was lost. I like the movie but it could definately be much better. Lynn Whitfield and Della Reese were perfect. Most of the lines were dry. it seems as if all the characters were comedic except for Brandy which gives the movie an odd feel.

how can anybody believe a smart educated woman could fall for him? that is beyond my understanding.

That's what women do. The crystal baby bird tipped her over. She let it all sink in, beleived what Martin said and gave it a shot...but she was a little wrong for letting him know she killed a mutha while they were in bed. Had she ran it all down before, Martin would have fell back. But what woman puts it all on the table from the jump? So, why should a man? They both were wrong.
