I Loved Chema

I saw this movie for the first time last night, and I loved it. I thought it was interesting, and very well done.

My favorite thing about the movie, though, was the character of Chema. I don't know why I liked him so much, but I really did. The actor playing him did a fantastic job.

I was just wondering if anyone else liked Chema as much as I did, or what they particularly liked about the movie

He seems like an alternate, spanish Johnny Depp.

This is so funny, this was one of the things I noticed while watching the movie. I LOVED Chema, his character was both well written and acted, and he was very layered. Clearly missunderstood by society, he neveetheless had a great sense of humor and went about things how he saw fit. His confidence was refreshing! I remember that when Angela asks him about Figueroa I think he goes: Con que te van maduritos, no? Which means, so you like the oldies huh? haha I laughed out loud! CHEMA RULES!

ugh please no. Every guy with glasses, dark hair and facial hair is Johnny Depp? What a cliche. You can do better.
He was NOTHING like Depp.

He was great and a hottie, too. He's one of those characters that would be interesting to meet in real life. His room was pretty cool, even thought it was creepy. He was also funny.

Yeah, as a gay-man, I thought Chema was good boyfriend material. I like moody, grungy guys like that.

I'm here to proudly announce: "I just don't know."
