Terminator 2_3D - Workprint

does anyone have a copy of the workprint! i found it but the user disconnected after 20% and theres no other users with the file! it seems to be the best copy out there even though it is a rough edit! or does anyone have any other versions of the show?

i got a good copy from crazyquick but i would like to find other versions and edit them together and enhance the sound and video. Im good with the whole editing process so I Would upload it onto the web for you folks to download! feedback would be awesome!!!

okay i managed to get the workprint! really good copy...well at least better than a hand cam without a tri-pod could pick up. The only down point is the video isnt fully edited without music, only some sound effects and video editing though its good for what it is.

again if theres anyone with other copies of T2 3D i would really like to collect them to edit together a worthy copy that does the show justice. just like crazyquick was nice enough to do, i will send out copys so long as people give feedback and contribute their copies if they have any.

ive now got the workprint, crazyquicks copy (without the intro outside the hall), another video cam copy (with the entire show, including the intro) though its a bit of a shakey in camera work.

please give feedback if u have a good copy of the show.

I have the workprint, completely with green screen and storyboards, but the quality sucks. If I ever find a good decent quality (which I know that exists, but those people will not release it), then I will convert it to DVD (and perhaps put it even online for download).

It will be non profit yes.
Right now, I have gathered all my stuff. I actually want to make it more complete, but then I would need someone who could translate some Japanese texts for me into English.

About the workprint...Does copy have backgorund music? Cuz mine doesnt and it looks kinda weird just listening to sound effects and stuff without a background music...

Crap? The workprint has NEVER been released with background music, that's why it's a workprint. An unfinished version. Even some special effects (like fires) are missing. But it's rare, hard-to-get, so I think a lot of people will be happy with it.

It's just a rip from the teaser, it's not an official track. When you listen the the teaser, you will hear the same thing as in my teaser.

Since it's an edit I was thinking you know the places where the sound is absent why not put your own based on sounds from T2 or T3 and insert score from T2 that will fit the moments of T2-3D? Just a suggestion to make the edit look more original.I dont think it will be a problem for someone like you who makes such edits and things.
Here are a few examples:
1. When T-1000 comes through the portal u can use any portal sound effects from the 3 movies + his hands converting into steel hooks.
2.When the terminator blows one of the endoskeleton's head we see electricity going through the head of the machine u can use there any of the electrical effects from the 3 movies when a terminator is damaged.
3.The end when the terminator holds the door before they shut down u could use the sound effect from T3 when the terminator similiar to T2-3D is holding the doors.

And many more. Ofcourse that is up to you whether u wanna do it or not but I think it will gain more popularity and positive review if u make it more complete.

Yeah I know ( a very nicely done edit i might add) that's why I got confused in the 1st place for the T2 3D. But anyway u should try an edit on it...U know it wont be actually an edit but more like completing it.

At the moment, I have a writers-block. I want to write something down about the buildings in which T23D takes place, but the words don't come out. So perhaps instead of really facts, it will be just some pictures with sometimes some words. I'm still waiting at some contributions of some 1 person, and then I hope to finish it around August/September.

My girlfriend broke up and all I did was thinking and remembering for the last 2 weeks of my holliday (talk about a 'great' holliday). Then last week, my computer had problems because the cooling system didn't work anymore and crashed several times (vecause of overheating) while I was working on the T23D DVD. I finished the problem recently, so now I can slowly continue working on it. Several sections are already finished, so that's a plus.

Thanks. It's hard trying not think about my ex-girlfriend. I try to work on this project, but as you can imagine, it goes slow at the moment.

I know. Time heals all wounds. But this is deep, I really loved this girl.

The T23D DVD will definitely put a smile on my face when it's finished. It's a great project, very time-consuming and big, but I love it.
And when T23D is ready, I'm going to work on my T1 and T2 bonus discs (not sure about T3 at the moment), these will rock too!!

Yeah, the DVD's will be awesome. First let me finish T23D, this is the most work of all because it has some much stuff that I want to put on it. Typing text/articles for it, have a lot of photos that will be on it, footage of Schwarzenegger opening it at USH, etc. I am still looking for a photo I lost of USF's T23D building but without the pilar in front of it. Just a complete shot but before the building was opening for public. I lost it somewhere, now I'm searching my a$$ off, but not result yet.

I have looked at all the comments that you have posted and you really amazed me. I downloaded T23D into my computer but the quality is not that good. I am a big fan of the terminator series. I would also like to have "The Chronicles of Sara Conor" I hope they realese this series on DVD. I am sure that thousands of people would appreciate your work. I wish you the best on your project and I am eager to watch your DVD. Good luck. By the way I am sure that you are going to find another girl that loves you.

I think they will release the Sarah Connor Chronicles on DVD when the first season has aired.

About the quality. I do have a workprint version of T23D that is fullscreen VHS quality. Then I have another workprint version (Digital Domain) of only act 2 which is a bit better. And then I do have an audience recording, which has the least quality of those 3.

I want to start collecting all the terminator movies but I would like to start with the hardest ones and I think T23D is the hardest one to get. They have it of youtube.com but the quality sucks once you downloaded to your computer. I tried to make a DVD also but the quiality is to bad. Do you know if there are commercials about terminator because if there are I want to collect them too. I am also a big fan of shrek by the way and I am trying to get shrek's perfonmance during the 74th academy awards but I am having a hard time finding it.

I have about 12 T23D promotional spots, all are about to be included on the DVD. The version on youtube is not complete, mine is complete.

I downloaded the complete video from megauploads.com but I didn't like it because it was taken by an amateur and it looks as if the person was shaking the camera a lot. By the way what is Terminator 5D? I read somewhere that it was a live performance made in Italy.

Update:

Good news - I received 2 recordings of the complete T2 Live show in Italy.

Bad news - I reched menu screen #250 and it seems the program can't handle more menu screens than 250 per video. So now I'm thinking of splitting the content into 2 DVD's.

Sounds good HopeOfTheFuture, spreading it over 2 discs will give you more room to work rathering than struggling to compress it all onto one disc!

Still cant wait till the finished product.

Hi, the project is a bit fu<ked up. Right now, disc 1 is complete. However, my DVD program crashes with an "out of memory" error. This seems to happen with a lot of heavy project as I found out on the program's forum. However, yesterday I managed to compile and burn the disc yesterday... that's the good part. The bad part is that I was only able to compile and burn it after I had to remove 4 RANDOM sections of the disc. So right now, I'm trying to find a solution so I can include all 10 sections. The stupid thing is I only have to remove 4 RANDOM sections, so it's not even related to a certain section. Very annoying and fraekin' frustrating! :-(

Perhaps there is some hope after all. I took a month of complete rest and not working on my T23D special edition because of some of the program problems. Today I took a look at it again, with a fresh start and... came up with another index of contents which makes the info fit in 6 VMG segments which the program allows to be compiled. So yes, finally, disc 1 can be compiled. I'm gonna take a look at the font now, because the font I used was hard to read on a regular tv screen. Hopefully I can replace it with something easy... crossing my fingers.
