Does it work as a sequel to THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES?

It COULD in a way I suppose, considering that the show ended with John time-traveling into the future and that's the same way T2-3D begins. There would be some inconsistencies (the T-800 and the T-1000 rather than Cameron and Catherine Weaver) but it could work.
