Why does Miller say he knows Eleniak?

He says it twice in the film near the beginning -- is it ever explained, or is it some inside joke?

It's a pick up line

Could be b/c she was in Baywatch and a Playboy Playmate and plays a religious prude in this movie.

"Repent, Harlequin!" said the Ticktockman.
"Get stuffed!" replied the Harlequin, sneering.

The Blu-ray documentary talks about a deleted subplot that reveals that before Katherine became super religious, she was a morbidly obese porn star. When she find the adult film poster in his office, she freaks because its one of the movies she starred in.

Very interesting!
Watch that scene again, and you see Katherine's eyes light up as she discovers the poster. That totally falls in line with the deleted sub plot and why she would have reacted that way.

They ended up having her simply say "what a sleeze" before walking away since they didn't run with it.
