I really enjoyed both films in the Tales from the Crypt trilogy setting aside that awful so called third film Ritual.
It's hard for me to decide which one is better.
Demon Night has more scares that result in a better Horror film.
Bordello of Blood has more fun that result in a more re-watchible film.
What do you like more?
That's easy. "Demon Knight". It feels the most like a "Tales from the Crypt" story. The cast is really good all around, the story is great, the effects hold up really well. It's just fun and scary, the way a good scary movie should be.
shareMost people say demon knight, but I always stick up for bordello of blood. It's got some truly funny and dark moments, a pretty good screenplay, solid pacing, a likeable lead in Dennis Miller, and some great special effects. While I agree that DK has a vibe closer to tales/crypt, it doesn't make it a better movie automatically.
While both are pretty damn good, I agree Bordello ultimately has more repeat value, and ergo finds itself being watched more often than demon knight. But I definitely understand why most people say demon knight, so there's no wrong answer...
