Why 'Mrs' Tunheim
I don't think there was any reference to her husband but several to "Mrs". If she was married that would certainly add to the story about her suicidal depression.

It seems her husband was out of her life. She wasn't very old so I assumed she was a widow. The film took place after WW2 which was particularly devastating for Norway.
