I hate the daughter!!!

I felt really bad for Beverly D'Angelo and for Rob Estes' characters because they were really in love. You could tell he loved her! But they got in a fight, he got drunk, and that stupid daughter threw herself onto him!! You could tell he was pushing her away at first, but she was aggressive and he was a man and drunk. I like how this movie took the unconventional, yet realistic approach and showed how mistakes can happen, and they aren't always the fault of who society would normally blame. Yet the repercussions are unavoidable and inescapable. Poor Beverly D'Angelo...when she screamed "I laid down my life for you" at the end of the movie, I felt so bad for her...what are the odds of a 50-ish year old woman finding love again, especially with a hot stud like him!
