In the scene where she tries to take a picture and get slapped by that guy and the black girl runs away after the rest of the movie you don't see her what happen?
shareThat is because New Line edited it out. What happened was she was banged up badly in the constuction site. She lives and ends up in the hospital. Jackie's cop friend, Romeo, goes to visit her and she reminds him that this is her exclusive.
New Line did a terrible job editing the film.

This has bugged me mercilessly since I first saw the film years ago. I figured it might have been just poor editing or maybe the shoot over ran and she was contacted to another project and couldn't complete shooting. Is there anyway to view the cut scene or to get a copy of the film in its entirety so it runs more smoothly without the woeful editing ?
shareWell you can try a Hong Kong DVD wholesaler. Unfortunately, the DVD is from Taiwan, so it is dubbed over in Cantonese and Mandarin, which is disappointing since the film was shot in English. On top of that, the transfer is terrible.

Where did you get it from ? if you dont mind me asking , and how much and what region? Is it worth it ? I only have the VHS version and will pick up the DVD at some point as I am upgrading my collection where possible.
shareI got it from a HK warehouse that isn't around anymore. It was about $10.99. Just about every HK DVD is in all region mode and not copy protected.
I would say it is only worth it if you want to watch the full version of the film. The transfer is terrible, and for a recent film, that is not good. I also didn't like the dubbing as it was entirely shot in English. They add different dialogue to some of the scenes, and they call the Demons gang the Wolves for some reason.
I will be straight with you and tell you that many of these places are out of stock when it comes to Jackie Chan films. And some of these places are now closed. HK Flix, which is still around, abide by a rule in which versions of a different film are not allowed to be sold in the US.

Dang, what a completely different movie it was to the sugar coated release here in the UK !
The bad guy smacks the hell outta everyone !! Especially the women !!
I dont condone violence against women but this uncut release makes him seem what he really was - a bad guy.
In the cut to ribbons version he goes down as one of the tamest bad guys in movie history !
Makes me wonder how different some of his other movies are !
