Favorite Sunset Park characters?
I liked Shorty, Butter and Drano.

Spaceman without a doubt.
But I really liked Drano and Busy bee.
All of the characters were likeable in some way.
Since you're a fan of Butter maybe you can help me understand something he said. They were in the locker room and he said something like, "It makes sense remember the color purple." Do you know what I'm talking about?

Yeah because Butter was saying something like the coach like brothers because she had a picture of Bruce Lee on her wall and he was like Bruce Lee is half black half chinese. And he said he had proof and they was like how the hell you know and he said remember the color purple?. I thought that was put in there for laughs. I didn't think that it meant anything.

Yes, that was the part! I remember that now. Maybe it was just for laughs but when I first heard it I thought I could almost remember why it made sense. A while back I was going crazy trying to understand it. I even thought about Rae Dawn Chong, which makes no sense.
If I really get frustrated I could always start a post, thanks for your response.
By the way I usually don't find Talent Harris funny but he made me laugh in this film.

I agree I normally don't find him that funny either and I thought Talent was the funniest dude in the movie. Oh my signature is from The Wood. Have you seen it?

I seen some episodes but I don't quite remember them all that good. I just know his show was funny.

Oh, well I can't remember exactly but they made fun of Def Comedy Jam one episode and Talent was on the clip they were making fun of. Only reason I remember so well is b/c I got the DVD from my library about a year ago.
But that was a hilarious show, too bad it didn't last longer. Dave Chapelle would have had more material to work with and wouldn't have had to move to Africa. (kidding)
