Big potential for a big movie that never happened

The story was good and the acting was great, but the script ruined it. "M0therfvck1ng this! M0therfvck1ng that!" then they combine this aggressive ways with some kind of disney joy-joy soundtrack wtf was that about! I found it of really cheap taste.
This could have been a deep, spiritually touching movie but it failed sadly. Maybe they should've given it to another director. Imagine what Oliver Stone would have done with this story.
