Great Movie. Awful dvd!

This is one of my favorite movies, but I can't believe how awful the dvd is. The dvd is full frame and when I compared it to a letterbox version I saw on the Sundance channel there is a ton of picture information missing on the dvd. It's not even pan and scan, they just stuck the camera in the middle and hoped some of the actors made it in to the frame. The 2nd audio stinks too. It's almost nothing but dead silence. I hope if "Waitress" is successful they will do a remastered dvd of "Sudden Manattan" and that this film will get the treatment it deserves.
