'I'm Sorey' marc anthony's character

when he shows up late, and has to write "I'm sorry" 100 times, did anyone else see that he was spelling it wrong?

not even Berenger's character said anything. i thought for sure he was going to humiliate him in front of the whole class for not knowing how to spell. would have been good opportunity to make marc anthony's character really start to hate berenger.

anyways, good cheesy late night movie lol.

Yes I noticed it.The thing that got me was that some of the other students did not say anything. In a way I think they knew he was spelling it wrong but did not want to say anything to him cause they were afraid of him.And another theory is that they probably did not know he was spelling it wrong.Tom Berenger's character knew he was spelling it wrong and probably felt pity on him in a way cause he knew.Despite being a hardcore gangmember he could not spell. And that kind of humbled him a little.

*spoilers* Even at the end with the shootout in the school the other merc noticed that it was spelled wrong.lol

I would not say that Shale felt any "pity" for him at all. But, rather, felt it exposed how ignorant the character, Juan Lacas, was. All the students knew it, Shale saw that, and then ran it. Which, of course, led to Shale's monologue about life. It served to expose how stupid the gang life was/is. Just pure evidence that Lacas was a moron, and helped Shale prove his point.

The face Berenger makes when he notice it is very well done.

Berenger got him where he wanted. Showed who's boss and rubbing it in is bad for getting respect from the others in the class.

Actually, he spell's "I'm" without the apostrophe: Im. Well, zero out of two ain't good.

Yes, this is a decent cheesy late-night movie, but I much preferred the first half (where Berenger interacts with the students) to the second half (where he battles the drug gang). 6/10 stars from me.
