They've constantly blown up the Enterprise But the captain never goes down with the ship. What's up with that?
shareThe 'going down with the ship' cliché isn't as many people think. Maritime tradition dictates that the Captain should be the last to leave the ship, he doesn't actually have to sink with it just because it's sinking, or in this case exploding.
