Does anyone know where/how I might be able to see the musical version of this movie without having to actually attend a production? Is it recorded anywhere?

I was wondering kinda the same thing. Was this a movie before it was a musical. I heard of the musical first, but now I've just found this non-musical movie.

We just began rehersals for this show at our local community theater and the scripts say that the play was adapted from the movie.
