I just don't agree...SPOILER

Mrs Quigleys son had a right to die for his convictions whether they were right or wrong. I would never forgive my mother for denying me the dignity of my god given human rights.

actually during the strike, one the prisoners who died wanted to come off the strike and it was his mother who told him he would shame his family if he did, terrible, just terrible. The authorities had wanted to feed him but brought his mother and priest in to witness his request to come of the hunger strike and both forced him back on.

that story will be told someday - I was told this by an officer who was present when this happened. The systematic violence from the prison officers was a fantasy of the director and never proven, it was used to justify the murder of the officer seen on screen and the admission that many more were murdered, considering this provocation, the restraint from the Northern Irish prison officers was nothing short of remarkable. If this had happened in French or Russian prisons there would have been dead prisoners carried out every week and yet not one republican prisoner was killed in a British prison.

American and British families have sent their sons to their death since the alliance invaded Afghanistan. Why not piss all over their memory!

We can't make you do anything, but we can make you wish you had!
