Where do I send my script for a sequel?

I recently wrote a 129-page screenplay called "Solo II: Double Down" where Solo is pulled out of hiding by another cyborg named "Lone" and they must team up to save an unnamed town in the Middle East from a terrorist threat. I think it's a real firecracker of a screenplay, lots of intense realistic action sequences and some deep musings on the situation in the Middle East, and I'd love to send it to either some Hollywood bigwigs or maybe even Mario Van Peebles himself. If anyone knows Mario Van Peeble's contact information, or if Mario himself reads this, please get a hold of me ASAP!

you should take that script, cover it with olive oil, and shove it in your dink hole. That sounds like a horrible, horrible movie.

reply

I appreciate your honesty but I'm going to have to disagree and not shove it up my privates. I've shown this script to 2 people and each one has raved about it. It takes everything that worked in Solo, times it by ten million, and then takes that to the next level. It's the perfect middle section for the Solo series, and I'm already writing the third and final film "3olo: War's End". The 3 represents the S in Solo and also shows that it's the third in the series.

reply

I'd watch those as a double feature.

reply

Lol. Omg.

reply

But nothing worked in Solo. Zero times Ten Million is still zero.

Also, when I read about the third Solo, I started to laugh. It honestly sounds like some kind of a joke. Are you joking?

If Zombies ever attack, the only survivors would be Network Executives. Zombies only eat brains.

"3olo"...YGTBSM!! HaHa!!!

If you find a place to send it, I say go for it!

Thanks Jag, I appreciate the confidence boost. Let's get this flick made!!

I'm sure y'all don't have the patience to wait so here's a little excerpt from the script to whet your appetite.

SOLO
War...it never changes. It's the same goddamn thing every time.
LONE
It doesn't have to be! The soldiers are the ones with the power to change things!

SOLO and LONE lock hands over the campfire in a bond of trust

SOLO
Then we change things. Brothers in battle, tomorrow we fight for freedom.

Terrible dialog.

How old are you?

I'm not knocking the script or your chances of making it move. But that scene is terrible.

The "it doesn't have to be" can be dropped from the beginning of the line.

Solo should show on his face that he's thinking, that he's changed his mind Lone should stick out his hand slowly over the fire.

And without words, they lock the brotherly bond.

Remember in movies, sometimes actions speak louder that words. This is one of those times where that theory could work.

jiggysock, don't listen to these people. Your idea sounds awesome and I'd totally see your second film.

Jiggy, your posts in this thread are some of the funniest to ever grace IMDb. It's even funnier that everyone took you so seriously. Does nobody have a sense of humor anymore!?
