I hope this nugget of gold stays " Small Time "

In a good way though.

Because not many people have seen this diamond of a film, ( accounting for the numbers of user comments & message board activity ), i kinda feel that a major DVD release would take the gloss off a little. It's probably me being selfish but the fact that this movie isnt too well known kinda makes it like a little secret i dont wanna share with everyone.

Love the vulcan nerve pinch on Jumbo. lol .

yeah I agree in a way. I still need it on DVD though. think some clever VHS to PC trickery is required

It was rubbish beginning to end. Perhaps it mirrors your life -it definitely does not mirror mine. Shane Meadows- a poor man's Mike Leigh but nowhere near as good.

I have to agree.

The people were scum, and not very amusing scum.

It's one thing to laugh at bunch of people ripping off a bank or somesuch but quite another to observe people stealing from those who are not a lot better off than themselves.

And what interest there is listening to a bunch of people who wouldn't scrape up an average IQ if their individual scores were added together I cannot imagine.

apparently warp films are trying to release this on dvd but i believe they need release forms from the actors to do so first! contrary to popular belief the actors were not random neighbours that Shane managed to get cracking performances out of but were in fact REAL actors...!

Actors? Gimme a break- no wonder I never see them anywhere if this is the level of their craft.
