She Cried No

Here is what D.J. Tanner-Fuller from Full House and Fuller House (played by Candace Cameron Bure) would have said about this movie;

D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure): Hi! I'm Candace Cameron Bure and I play D.J. Tanner-Fuller on Full House and Fuller House. The story you just saw in this movie I starred in happened to me. A lot of people think what happened was my fault. I think they're wrong. I take full responsibility for my actions that night in this movie. I now know that some of the things I did in this movie weren't very smart but whatever I did, I didn't ask to be raped like in the other movie I starred in called No One Would Tell where I was battered and murdered, people might say I wasn't very smart but they wouldn't say I deserved it. They wouldn't say my boyfriend who battered and murdered me in that movie was innocent because of what I did. No one deserves to be raped. No matter what the circumstance, if a woman says no and a man forces her to have intercourse whether that force is physical or emotional, that's rape. That's the law. A woman is raped on a college campus every 21 hours. 90% of all college rapes go unreported. Only 1 out of 100 of these rapists is prosecuted. It wasn't easy for me to talk about what happened. It wasn't easy for me to say I was raped. I came forward with my story in this movie to encourage other women to come forward with theirs. Date rape has been a crime of silence for too long.
