Cheesiest Sharpe like ever
In my opinion the Cheesiest Sharpe line has to be at the end when their advancing over into France and the soldier asks that kid.
"What Regiment?"
"Sharpes, Sharpes regiment!"
Makes me cringe practicly ever time...
Whole ending made me cringe, really.
Oh hahahaha, look at all the recruits being blown to smithereens! Tally-ho! Funny how it's always the dishonorable characters who end up getting it in the neck first too, just like in real life. O_o
I am a fan of Sharpe, by the way. The occasional silliness included. :D
In the book, and often in real life, the worst Sergeants and officers wound up dead at the hands of their own side. A bullet wound is a bullet wound, for example...
