Kudos

Likeable characters. Naturalistic acting. Some good chemistry between some of the supporting players.

Setting feels like a small midwestern town. Definitely had the vibe down.

Some really good lighting. The golden morning light in the early scenes was really well done. (Made me homesick).

Creepy deaths. Cool make-up.

A couple of excellent wince-inducing stunts - guy on fire, kid falling off bike and rolling. I always wonder how they do those without getting hurt.

I'd taped this off tv over a decade ago, and re-discovered it as I was going through some of my old videos. Now I've got to track down the original Bram Stoker short story.

Pretty good, actually. Worth a look.
