This is actually incorrect. It was not the film itself that was banned; it was the DVD. The DVD release contained a game called "The Troma Intelligence Test", and since games fall under a different set of classification rules than films, it was classified as such.

The game entailed a set of trivia questions that played violent, gory clips when you answered incorrectly, and clips of nudity and sex when you were correct. Since it's against the classification board's rules to allow games that offer sex as an incentive or reward, the DVD was banned.

Troma simply removed the intelligence test and had it reclassified. The film itself remained uncut.
