Why was she acting child-like? Did she have a mental disorder or something?

This was the first movie she acted in EVER. I think that was how she was supposed to act--kind of un-educated, poor. Anything else she's ever been in, she doesn't act this way.

I think she did a great job in this movie. Yeah after awhile the crying by her character did get on my nerves but I think Kim played this role.

I don't think she was. TT was the kind of women that was probably abused and taken advantage of by everyone in her life except her close friends so she ended up withdrawing into herself kind of like Celie from the Color Purple
