I feel bad for the boys

She coerced them into murder. They had their whole lives ahead of them and she stole it. Of course they should pay for their crimes, it's just so sad. Also I felt bad for her daughter. She must've seen how crazy her mother was but stood by her anyway. I don't think pushing her (step) sister away at the end was the right thing. They were willing to continue being family, despite her mother's actions. The whole thing was just sad all around. It's weird to think it's a true story and that this woman is really in jail. The end said she won't be paroled until she's 86. I bet she'll be evil even then.

Excellent film. I was glued to the screen.

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

Would they have committed murder? Who knows. But they were already into a lot of bad stuff at that time. I was a junior at Jefferson when it happened and those three were already bad news.

As for Regen, the daughter - she was the one who got completely screwed in the whole process. Nice, sweet girl whose world fell apart.

What ever happened to Regan after her mom went to prison?

reply

You can't always judge someone and how they would have turned out by the way they were in high school.

reply

I actually hung out w/ them a lot in high school and thought they were pretty nice guys. Your interpretation of "bad news" is probably a lot different than other peoples. So they drank and smoked some weed, it was a small town, that's what lots of people were doing. I remember them at many parties and nothing ever struck me as murderous.

Has Reagan spoke to her mom?

But they could have said no.

You feel bad for them pieces of sh*t????? One walked into a mans house and fired a shot gun...a house that HE didn't pay for, and you feel sorry for this piece of scum. He should have died in the electric chair. A person died in his own home because of him.

All the b*stard could have said was "no". He was fully capable of doing that.

reply

I agree that they are not worthy of feeling sorry for.

It's not like they were defending THEIR home against a home invasion or somesuch. They could have shopped Diane B to the police, they didnt have to murder her ex husband... they could have done everything differently and didnt. She is obviously mentally unstable, manipulative and evil to have done all that she did, but they were free to choose and chose wrong.

The boys have no one to blame but themselves for throwing their lives away.

reply

Yes their life was ruined but it was their choice. Murder is never the answer. They were old enough to know right from wrong and they decided to do the wrong thing.

I saw pictures of the actual boys, they are all good looking! There's no way that woman could have been having sex with any of them, she is vile looking. They didn't need sex with some old broad. Atleast not Doug Vest, c'mon! He could have done way better! Okay well not good looking but a lot better looking than she is as a woman.

reply

Hey some people don't care about looks. I don't feel bad for them, they shouldn't have killed an innocent man. I recall watching the last part of the movie years ago, it was pretty good.
