Robin Williams

Nothing in trivia about this. Anyone hear why Mr. williams wouldn't attach his real name to this? I suspect it was because his manager had a heart attack about him playing someone so dissimilar to the teddy bear he had been playing in every movie up to this point. He probably foresaw Robin losing 98% of his fan base. Must have been a breath of fresh air for Williams to play this part after being so restrictively typecast for so long. For those tempted to say that he didn't want to be associated with such a bad film, I think he used his real name in worse projects than this.

At times, an actor will request not to receive proper credit for their role so as not to derail the publicity/marketing of the film. In an ensemble film like Secret Agent, I can envision Williams' desire to maintain a bit of anonymity to give it an even balance in the world market.

I think I agree with this one.

Kevin Spacey did the same thing for "se7en" b/c he didn't want people to be "waiting for him to appear" on screen. He also didn't do any promoting for the film before it came out.

Annie please, for God's sake.....
