Which Killer Was Which?

I remember watching this as a teenager and trying to figure out which killer for each scene. Watching it again, it's still fun to figure out. So what's the general consensus? My theories:

Casey and Steve - (Phone) Billy, (Killer) - Stu was with Tatum and the killer on the phone knew details where he had to be there ("Turn on the porch light. Again.")

Attack at Sidney's - (Phone) Stu? He can't see her and since there's one killer in the closet and she would hear him speaking from inside the house, it had to be a tag team effort; (Killer) - Billy

Phonecall to Sidney at Tatum's - Stu. In spite of Sidney's suspicion about Billy's one phonecall, it would've been stupid to call her on a line that is easily traceable.

Grocery Store glimpse - Stu? Only because he tells them to bring food.

Woods outside of Tatum's house - No idea.

Principal Himbry - Stu? Sidney and Tatum are leaving the school - Stu walks back the way he came.

Tatum - Billy, I used to think this was Stu, but Billy gets to the house right after and apparently Skeet confirmed that it was Billy in that scene.

Kenny, Dewey, and the attack on Sidney - Obviously Stu, since Billy is upstairs the whole time.

What if it was Roman Bridger, director. And brother. Behind the mask doing all the killings?

Whilst tweedle de and tweedle dum were just his patsies.

reply

Heck of a plot twist lol!

reply

Roman Bridger was a terrific serial killer! So, maybe, in Scream 5, or Scream: The Reboot, Roman's twin children could be the killers?

reply

LOL!! I have a friend who is utterly convinced that Roman is the one in the ghostface killer costume in the bathroom scene.

I've said this on the other thread, but the short version:

Kills
Maureen: Both
Steve: Stu
Casey: Billy
Himbry: Billy
Tatum: Billy
Kenny: Stu

Calls
Casey's House: Billy
Sidney's House: Billy
Riley House: Stu

Attacks/Other
Sidney's Attack (Home): Stu
Sidney's Attack (School): Prankster
Hiding in Bushes: Billy
Grocery Store: Billy or Prankster
Dewey's Stabbing: Billy

I never thought about a prankster in the bathroom and store - that would make sense. It was a high risk/low payoff if they were caught then and there. Hard for Billy to explain why he was trying to follow his recently traumatized girlfriend in a ghost mask unless he was the killer.

Curious though - why dod you think Stu killed Steve? I always assumed it was just Billy there, since Tatum says Stu was with her all night.

And Dewey's stabbing - wouldn't that have been Stu? Because Billy stumbled down the stairs not long after, but Ghost Face follows Dewey out of the house, doesn't he? I saw it again recently, but that scene isn't as clear while I'm recalling it now.

Billy was also with Sidney that night. Their agenda: Kill a couple of people, then go be with their girlfriends.

As for Dewey's stabbing: Stu was outside. Billy was in the house. And the general movements and whatnot of Ghostface in that scene just says Billy to me.

I'll have to watch it again for the Dewey scene - for some reason I was thinking Ghost Face appeared in the door right after, but it can all blur together after a while :).

For the opening scene, I always assumed Billy just stopped by Sidney's on the way home from killing Casey and Steve.
