What is up with this. In the first movie her name is Sabrina Sawyer.(When she is with her parents.) In other movies and the T.V. Show her name is Sabrina Spellman. (When she is with her aunts.) How come her names changed? Plus are her parents magical and why was she sent to live with her aunts?? I'm confused. Please help. Thanks bye.

shareHer father wasn't supposed to take care of her for the time being. They explain in the movie that witches are supposed to live with people who can train them when they come of age. Plus on the show they say he traveled a lot. that's why Sabrina always used the spell book to talk to him, it was usaully the only way she could always know exactly where he was and talk to him.

Anyways, her parents sent her to live with her aunt's (on her dad's side of the family) to train her to be a witch. Sabrina is based off from the comic book of the same name from Archie Comics. In the comics, I think her last name was Spellman.
