Its how the series was made
Some things are better as a series than a movie, but the sitcom came from the movie in the first place so its an amazing movie i enjoyed it.
I loved it as a kid and still love it now.

I thought the tv movie was cute. I know it was really different from the tv series but it was the movie that made interested in the series so I think it worked.

The other seasons still rocked not many sitcoms get 140 something episodes it is 65. but max is 100
It was done with Thats So Raven and would have been done with Lizzie Mcguire but the actress moved on
It was done with Hannah Montana and the suite life of zack and cody i think

seasons 1-7 are still great its a sitcom that got over 140 episodes
Most of them are 65 max if ratings are gr8 they will get up to 35 more so up to 100 max

It's not terrible, which was what I thought after the first few seconds. It really suffers from a lack of funding, though (ie. low budget). The actual video quality looks like it was homemade.
Michelle Beaudoin really shines in it. I now understand why people thought she was great in Season One.
It's not bad. It's just different from the series. I guess some people dont like the changes between the film and the tv series. I love both of them. I'm probably one of a few people who saw the film first before the series. It seems as if most people saw the series first then the film, so it might just be some people who saw the series first that didn't like the film.

And I say this while It's being shown on tv right now in the UK.
You can see MTV, Clueless and 90210 influences in the acting and plot and it is more serious than the TV Show.
